Ray plays key roles Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Kay Menon. Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji and Vasan Bala lead the series. It focuses on love, lust, betrayal and truth themes.

“It was an opportunity for me to work with wonderful talent. The mystery and quality of the film is something that the director and his actors unravel with the support of some cameos that cannot be spoil or reveal.
This is a weak anthology series, and Vasan Bala’s Spotlight is so poorly written not only because of it. But also because of the underwhelming performance of the lead actor, Harshvardhan Kapoor.
Even if you are a series like Bajpayee or Menon or Rao, comparisons are inevitable. Fazal new manages to hold his own and carry his share of the show on his shoulders. And while Kapoor fumbles from the start of the series.
