The series is on the basis of a political leader who overcame the odds in Indian politics. The series Huna Qureshi plays the role of Rani Bharti. She is the wife of the Prime Minister of Bihars and housewife. The opposition leader of the Bihar Legislative Council, Rabri Devi is the wife of the Bihar political leader Lalu Prasad Yadav in politics.
Maharani is set in Bihar in the 1990s and is base on Rabri Devi from Bihar, the only female chief minister chosen by her husband. He is former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, as his successor.
Maharani Trailer presents the story of a housewife who triumphs by challenging the misogynistic society that stands before her. And the series offers such a victory for Rani Bharti (Huma Qureshi), the housewife and wife of Bheema (Sohum) Shah. As a housewife, Rani is expected to be a pawn in a game others play against her. But she is shocked when she begins to speak out.

Maharani’s intriguing premise, set in Bihar in the 1990 “s, is that of a politician who comes to power after battling several obstacles. And assuming the task of managing state policy, even though she has no formal education or understanding of politics.
The plot of the series revolves around Rani Bharti, a housewife, and wife of the chief minister of Bihar. Her life takes a sudden and unexpected turn when her husband Bheema Singh Bharti declares her a CM. In the opening scene, a lower caste man is shot because he refuses to serve his Maalik master.
