Story Line
In the small town of Jwalapur, Rani (Taapsee Pannu) and Rishabh (Vikrant Massey) start a new life. The film opens with a moment when Rani is introduce to the late vicar.
He has an endless streak of playing poisonous young men hiding behind a façade of innocence. From the outset, it’s as if she’s hooked on a pulsating detective novel and believes she’s adventurous enough to come to terms with her new man.

Director Vinil Mathew and author Kanika Dhillon take us into a completely different world of Rani and simplicity and connectedness of the small town.
While at the same time we get an eerie sense of a possible imminent catastrophe.
D Hillon pushes us towards total disbelief and we become willing voyeurs of the fast-pace murder mystery with absurd clichés and scandalous details.
This alone gives the film a non-linear script with an undercurrent of voltage and constant tension.
After a massive explosion, the mutilated bodies of her husband. And lover are run over by Haseen Dillruba, as the local inspector (portray by Aditya Srivastava) tries to extract a confession from her. In the first few minutes of the film you get the feeling that this is a staging that offers a powerful thriller about a small town that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The film cuts to flashbacks as the story of the explosion unfolds, and then to the present, where Haseen’s character tries to prove her innocence by taking a lie detector test.
